ABOUT BECCA

There are so many UX researchers, but what makes me, me?

I take a human-centered, systems thinking approach to UX strategy. My psychology PhD background helps me find patterns and understand new opportunities, and see the biiiiigger context beyond immediate clicks and swipes.

I also love to focus on content design. When you need a “words person,” I’m thrilled! We can research and test content? My heart is exploding!

I want to set you up for success without me in the (real, or virtual, or metaphorical) room. When we collaborate on a research plan or content style guide, or we work through research findings and insights, I want your team to feel totally confident moving forward.

Some non-work things I enjoy:

  • Hiking (not very well), walking, and otherwise catching nice outdoor views.

  • Traveling. My favorite place I’ve visited so far is New Zealand!

  • Theme parks. I have a hard time not bringing theme parks into every conversation.

  • Reading and video games — my go-to quiet recharge activities.

  • Music, which is like saying you enjoy air, but it’s worth mentioning anyway.

  • Doing all kinds of everyday silly nonsense with my spouse and cats.
